What does a badge do for me and what does it get me into?
A badge provides access to the festival's films, panels and parties and includes a special registration bag, NYILFF 2008 awards tickets and a festival catalog.
The badge also admits you into industry panels, but admission is on a strictly first come, first served basis.
The badge excludes Opening Night, Closing Night, Dominican Night and all Special Event Screenings. Admission to the Hola Mexico Film Festival is not included.
PLEASE NOTE: Badge holder must show picture ID to obtain tickets with a badge.

What does a single ticket get me?
Just a movie. BACK TO TOP
Can a film get sold out if I have a badge?
We do our best to accommodate all badge buyers by holding seats until 10 minutes before show time. We urge you to arrive early and cannot guarantee seats once the film begins. BACK TO TOP
Does the NYILFF oversell?
No, we do not. We do make every effort to accommodate everyone. We have instituted a strict ticketing policy to prevent any overages. BACK TO TOP
What if the film I want to see gets sold out?
Never say "sold out". Even if advance tickets are no longer available, don't give up; just think Stand-By. Approximately 15 minutes prior to a film or panel's scheduled start time, we start admitting those customers standing in the Stand-By line, until the theater is at capacity. The festival screens almost every film twice, so everyone has a chance to see a film. We suggest flexibility when you consider your movie and event schedule. Also, please arrive early. BACK TO TOP
Do films start on time?
The festival makes every effort to start each film on time. We ask that you please arrive early and please have patience. BACK TO TOP
Are there any refunds?
There are no refunds or exchanges. BACK TO TOP
